I believe that when you choose an air cooler, you will encounter the problem of not knowing how to choose the wind direction of the fan, so how to choose the wind direction of the fan for the air cooler? 

The characteristic of the air cooler is to use air as a heat exchange material for heat exchange, and the heat is taken away by the gas, so it is also called an air heat exchanger. The fan is a very important part of the air cooler. Performance parameters such as fan speed and exhaust air volume will affect the actual heat dissipation effect of the air cooler.

01 AIRFLOW DIRECTION

Usually, the fan has two wind directions: suction and blowing. 

Air suction method: The fan blades rotate clockwise, and the wind goes out from the core of the air cooler, and then takes away the heat of the core. From the perspective of the fan itself, the wind direction is from the blades to the grille.

And the blowing method: then in turn, the wind blades rotate counterclockwise, and the wind blows to the core of the wind cooler. From the perspective of the fan itself, the wind direction is from the grille to the fan blades.

After our tests, the air suction form has a greater utilization rate of the wind, the air volume is more concentrated, and the heat dissipation is rapid.

In addition, from the perspective of air cooler maintenance, the air suction method is more conducive to the cleaning of the air cooler. We all know that the use environment of the air cooler is usually dusty. If things go on like this, thick floating dust will accumulate on the cooling plate, and the heat dissipation effect will be reduced at this time.

Therefore, the floating dust on the surface must be removed in time. If it is blowing, a large amount of floating ash will accumulate on the inside of the core, which is difficult to remove. On the contrary, if it is suction, more floating ash will be deposited on the outside of the core, which is easier to clean.
