Cleaning method of fin heat exchanger

Cleaning of finned heat exchangers and other equipment has become an essential and important link in industrial production, especially in petrochemical and thermal power plants. What are the reasons and important work procedures for finned heat exchanger cleaning? Let me explain to you.

In the production process of the cleaning chemical industry, for many reasons, a lot of coking, oil dirt, scale, sediment, corrosion products, polymer, fungi, etc. will be formed in the fin heat exchanger equipment and pipeline linesuch as algae and slime. The resulting dirt will cause equipment and pipelines to fail, and device system productivity will decrease, and energy consumption and material costs will increase. Economic losses, even harmful manufacturing accidents can occur.

There are generally two methods of industrial cleaning of finned heat exchanger cleaning: chemical cleaning and high-pressure water jet cleaning. But for a long time, traditional cleaning techniques and treatment methods, such as mechanical methods, high-pressure water, chemical cleaning (pickling), scale inhibition, etc., cannot effectively solve the problem and can cause serious damage to the equipment itself, the human body and the environment. With the rapid development of modern industry, the consumption of cooling water is not only increasing, but also the existing scale in large circulating exchange equipment cannot be scientifically cleaned, which leads to energy consumption and environmental damage, and reduces operating efficiency. The most important work procedures for fin heat exchanger cleaning are:

  1. Descaling and cleaning. Add prepared descaling and cleaning agent in proportion to circulating water in cleaning tank for boiler cleaning and descaling. Determine the amount of chemicals according to the cleaning cycle time and amount of scale. After making sure that all the scales are cleaned, proceed to the next cleaning method.
  2. Rinse with clean water. After connecting the cleaning equipment to the boiler, clean it with clean water for 10 minutes, check the condition of the system, check whether there is any leakage, and clean the floating rust at the same time.
  3. Strip anti-corrosion cleaning. Add the surface stripping agent and slow-release agent in proportion to the circulating water of the cleaning tank and perform the cleaning for 20 minutes to separate the scale from the cleaned parts.
  4. Passive coating treatment. Add passivation coating agent to conduct passivation coating treatment in boiler cleaning system to prevent corrosion and new rust formation of pipelines and components.
